Anelec was tasked with providing an energy-efficient solar solution for Frostree, a prominent aluminium window supplier based in Thornaby. The project involved the installation of a 55kW solar power system, designed to help the business reduce its carbon footprint and energy costs. This renewable energy solution, incorporating 55 solar panels, is expected to provide long-term benefits both economically and environmentally.
The system was installed using JA Solar panels, known for their reliability and performance. The panels were securely fixed using Renusol metasole fixings, ensuring stability and longevity. Additionally, the solar system was paired with a 50kW Solis inverter, a key component that maximises energy efficiency by converting solar power into usable electricity for the business. This combination has already begun providing Frostree with substantial savings on their energy bills.
The installation of the solar system has greatly reduced Frostree’s dependence on the national grid. This transition to renewable energy is not only cost-effective but also aligns with the company’s sustainability goals.
